19 things I learned in 2019

1) You can not come to worldly things more than you come to God and expect to walk in peace.                                                                                                                                                    the Lord begs our weary hearts to run to Him for rest, our best yes–

2) It is sooo important to not alter yourself because of the gifts you see + admire in someone else.                                                                                                                                   refuse to let comparison cause you to miss out on YOUR divine calling–

3) The Lord is oh so sweet.                                                                                                                he cares so deeply about the desires of our hearts… after all, He places them there–

4) Waking up and saying “here I am Lord, how are you going to use me today?” is the real game changer.                                                                                                                               watch as your perspective completely shifts in every circumstance–

5) Change is a GOOD, good thing.                                                                                                  lets be honest… how often do you find yourself building His Kingdom when your’e 100% comfortable? Here is to embracing change & being His hands and feet in 2020.

6) The Lord satisfies us with good.                                                                                              psalm 103:5… enough said–

7) Taking time to “be still” in this fast past world is the best thing for your soul.                    be filled up before you go out.. ya feel?–

8) What you DO is not who you ARE. there is a quite a big difference actually.                    you ARE a child of God… You DO what the Lord occupies you with–

9) Some friendships take more time to flourish than others.                                                                                  keep pouring into them anyways. there really is no rush at all–

10) It seems that the Lord reveals things to you when your heart is in a place to truly HEAR, rather than just listen.

11) Tithing is not “giving” money… it is the act of “returning” it.                                             the root of all evil is the love of money… thank you Jesus for protecting our hearts–

12) Just because someone does something differently than you does not necessarily mean   its wrong or needs to be “fixed.”                                                                                             everyone has different ways of doing things and I think thats a beautiful thing–

13) Some of the greatest joy comes by serving & giving others.                                             next time you’re having a bad day, watch your steps lighten as you serve some one else or give generously–

14) Gods “no” is worth His “yes” that is coming!                                                                     patient heart, don’t lose hope–

15) Everyones PATH is going to be unique to their calling.                                                  cheer them on. celebrate them. love them. you do not have to understand, it is not your journey–

16) Making promises to yourself & keeping them is just as important as keeping your promises to others.                                                                                                                    diligence is key, hold yourself accountable and watch as it becomes more natural to “follow through.”

17) It is so much more fun to love every aspect of life on the “ordinary” day. When you’re not on vacation and when it is not Friday.                                                                                your favorite cup of warm coffee and a treat, a good book, the last piece of a puzzle coming together, a hug from your best friend… what sets your soul on fire??

18) Community. I need people. You need people.                                                                        we were made to pour into others and to have others pour into us. let someone speak life into you today–

19) You won’t experience the joy of the Lord and be completely satisfied while you are controlled by perfectionism.                                                                                                          our Heavenly Father is the only perfect one, lets accept our role as His children. loved & saved by an undeserving grace–
