hi. this might sound ridiculous but I literally spent days + hours searching every store and website for cute clothes for our family sb vacation. note I said FAMILY vacation. the problem was this. I wasn't looking for outfits that look like I was going to the club. but at the same time, I was not going to an easter service everyday... ya feel?? I also wasn't sure how often I would be wearing each piece so spending $300 on a skirt was out of the question. finding the sweet in-between, to suit my style, took some time!! here is a few pieces I took with me in my suitcase.

cute lil dainty flowers but with a bold style & cut?!! I know. everything we need in a dress! so anyways, like I said. familyyyy vacation. needed a dress that I wasn't pulling down every 5 seconds. its annoying. literally shocked at the quality of this material and the perfect fit. I am 5'8.5 & seeing that misguided carried "tall' dress options was a win.

a beachy tie dye dress. not tie dye like in your face tie dye. you know the colors that come in the do it yourself tie dye kit... were talking like a light, feminine tie dye. the dress that is in line with the trends but isn't toooo trendy. yep, its this dress.

idk. kinda looks like I ordered it off of a cute australian website for $50 but it actually came from target. and its $12. I feel like thats all I have to say. a butterfly. my spirit animal. you should probably order this before the whole world finds out about it!!

4. frankies calico swim top & bottom

my first frankies bikini of an embarrassing amount I'm soon to own. actually not embarrassed at all about it. I would LIVE in a bikini if it were my choice. by the beach. ugh.. dreamy! the cutest lil dainty suit! fits like a second skin. I wore an S top (its adjustable) and an XS bottom for reference and it fits perfectly. frankies is also mentioned here.

they're soft. they fit well. they match everything... & I mean everything. and they're $5. I have the black and white. ok. fine. ill be honest, I have two of each. perfect top for travel, denim, or really anything.

when shopping for a beach vacation we need the big guns. not the cute gucci sunglasses. the polarized sunglasses. the I can get lost in the sand and stepped on sunglasses... & still be in one piece. I found the perfect ones! chic, fashion forward, simple, and 100% UV protection/ polarized. wore these every. single. day.

not the exact pair I bought but incredibly close. I couldn't find the pair I got at neiman marcus online so I linked very similar ones. you could dress these casually for a lunch or spruce them up for dinner. add a heel and gold jewelry and you're set. not sure why I think those two are the answer to fashion. but I just do.

not lying when I say I wore these everyday and at least twice. we can all credit my sweet boyfriend sam for being our style expert & picking them out!! if you're reading this, love you babe<3

we love a closet staple that does it all. wear as a swimsuit coverup? yes. add a belt & wear to dinner? yes. pjs for a night in? yes. yes. yes. get in one color or get them all! no ones judging.

so here is my scattered list of everything I am positive you need for your next tropical vacation. ok yes, I am well aware that no one is getting on a plane right now. so lets also call this your summer wardrobe look book. warmer weather is still coming & now you will be ready.

love u all.

xx,

m
