HI. As you are all well aware of, Christmas is a short 6 days away... with that being said, we have A LOT TO DO. I mean a lot. Here is a list of my very favorite Christmas activities and a few I plan to do. Need somewhere to take your family? Planning a Christmas date? GNO? Here to be your guide :)
Each year, Prestonwood Baptist puts on a phenomenal show unlike any other I have seen. Sadly, the show times for this year are over, BUT keep this on your list for next year and pick another live show - most churches and theaters have a Christmas show.
This is on my families to do list before Christmas this year! Chose a restaurant for dinner close by, then stop into their Christmas set up to walk through a European inspired village! If you do not live in the Dallas area, I am SURE the botanical gardens near you has something festive going on!!
3) Grapevine Main Street
Theres no surprise as to why Grapevine is considered the Christmas Capital of Texas. Each year, Main Street turns into a winter wonderland that has become Sam and I's tradition to be a part of. Get a warm hot cocoa or coffee at Main Street Bakery & Bistro, stop in my favorite Christmas store, and stroll through Whoville. Photo ops and more? YES PLEASE.
4) Candle Light Service
Not much brings me more joy than a room full of lit candles and every voice singing in remembrance of the true reason for the season. Below are links to a few candle light services in the DFW area. 5) Sugar Cookie Decorating
This is just a CLASSIC must to be done around the Christmas season. Follow an easy recipe and bake TONS of cookies, invite people, turn on Christmas music, and decorate to your hearts content !! This will surely get you in the Christmas Spirit.
