mc snack guide

hellooo! after A. LOT. of questions on what healthy, go-to snacks I eat & recommend, I decided to share the complete run down. so here it is! the lineup of all of my absolute favorite snacks! all being gluten & dairy free, following my tips to success. i will continue to update this post as I come across more favs that you need too.




note that I did not just say "trail mix" or a specific kind of nut. a good majority bought at the store are full of unnecessary additives and leave me with a stomach ache. specifically store bought raw almonds. the level of acid they contain ruins my gut. so lets get to the good stuff... NATES. RAW. HARVEST. raw, sprouted, & soaked nuts of all kinds. the perfect snack option.

wow bites (pro tip-- best in fridge... like wow)


not something I chose after the gym or anything due to the lack of protein, BUT a great grab and go for a little pick you up!! also a single serving bag perfect to take to the movies :)

just love that each ingredient in these bars are listed right on the front. SO many bars that claim to be "healthy" have tons of added cane sugar and ingredients one cannot even pronounce??

high protein and low sugar bars are what we look for in the mc community. i've been loving these plant based bars for a snack during quarantine before lunch or dinner. I suggest cutting the bar in half depending on how hungry you are!


really never travel without a few of these in my bag. also listed some of my fav rice cake spreads below!! (travel hack: every airport has a starbucks- grab a banana to top your rice cake off with if you need a healthy airport meal/ snack)


4. organic. ingredients. can't beat it. an at home snack, work snack, travel snack. THE perfect healthy energy boost. thank you @jessseverett from work for introducing me to these. now I must introduce you all. its how it goes. walked through disney with a bag of these in my hands.


ok. don't worry. they're taste nothing like they sound. every single person in my household loves these... even the boys. I know. crazy. perfect with guac or hummus :)


9. VEGGIES

capitalized because important. vegetables fill you up with vitamins & nutrients essential for the healthy lifestyle we desire. once again, perfect with guac or hummus. but lets be real, most everything is! as always, organic ONLY.
